Time we have left will run out

but your soul will endure in my heart, though…

There’s a long road to walk now

but I’ll reach all the shores that I search!

And if the night should fall upon me,

and if the road should lose its way,

I will carry your love within me,

a light until the end of my days.

There are mountains yet before me,

there are rivers I must cross…

The path may lead through sorrow,

but I will not fear the loss.

For the time we have will run out,

and fortune may take us apart,

but no distance, no ending, no shout

can take you away from my heart.

And when at last I reach the shores

that I have longed for all these years,

I will know all the roads were for

finding that you brought me here.
