Prezados leitores,
ofereço a vocês mais um livro em agradecimento pela companhia nestes anos. Espero a poesia tenha feito estes anos menos difíceis para vocês, também.
Desta vez incluí neste volume apenas o verso livre e coloquei os sonetos em um volume à parte, pois do contrário ficaria com mais de 600 páginas, mais difícil de manusear.
Nesta coletânea mantive os Estudos; e incluí o Hinário do Mundo, um livro sobre cidades e lugares, o qual devo prosseguir nas coletâneas seguintes. Queria tanto ter registrado em melhor definição e partilhar com vocês todas as paisagens que vi, sobretudo pela noite! Mas nem sempre houve tempo, recursos e oportunidade. E perdi minha câmera na estação de trem em Florença. Preparei cuidadosamente também o Livro dos Augúrios, um mergulho de poesia bem dançante, com método de sacerdotisa – ou do que imagino seja uma. Fiquei satisfeita com esta novidade, que dediquei à Dra. Maria Adozinda, ela mesma a melhor definição de mulher portuguesa e sacerdotisa.
Há muito teor político, porque observei que nós vivemos uma hiper-exposição à política nestes anos, e isso não poderia deixar de se refletir nos versos que preparei para vocês. Busquei infantilizar o que vi de mais agressivo, a fim de digerir o que nos chegou. Os amigos me demandaram também desta vez eu pudesse escrever algo para curar seus olhos de ver tantas tragédias, na pandemia, no Afeganistão, na vandalização das coisas, uma perspectiva que nos aliviasse. Sou grata a Dra. Rosemary Panossian e a alguns de meus colegas por haver me demandado isto.
Um especial agradecimento ao Stephan Schmitz, um ilustrador suíço premiado, pelo presente da imagem da capa; e ao PR, Ars Ventura, pelo projeto gráfico e diagramação. Agradeço imensamente pela generosidade dos comentários dos amigos e pessoas que admiro, ao final da obra.

Dear readers,
I offer you another book in gratitude for your company over the years. I hope poetry has made these years less difficult for you, too.
This time I included only the free verse poems in this volume; and I placed the sonnets in a separate volume. Otherwise it would be more than 600 pages long – more difficult to handle.
In this collection I kept the Studies; and I included the World's Hymns, a book about cities and places, which I shall continue in the following collections. I wanted so much to have recorded in better definition and shared with you all the landscapes I have seen, especially at night! But there wasn’t always enough time, resources and opportunity. I lost my camera in a train station in Florence. I also carefully prepared the Book of Good Omens, a dive in very danceable poetry, with the method of a priestess – or what I imagine is a priestess. I was pleased with the result, which I dedicated to Dr. Maria Adozinda, herself the best definition of a Portuguese woman and priestess.
There is a lot of political content, because I observed that we experienced in this period a hyper-exposure to politics. So this could not fail to be reflected in the verses I prepared for you. I tried to infantilize what I saw as most aggressive, so we could digest it. Friends also asked me this time if I could write something to heal their eyes from seeing so many tragedies, in the pandemic, in Afghanistan, in the vandalization of things, a perspective that would relieve us. I thank Dr. Rosemary Panossian and some of my colleagues, for asking me such.
